We have a dream for our community…..
Latest Update - December 2025
We are so so sorry it’s taken us so long to update with what’s happening, the surgery did go smoothly, we’ve all had major personal life issues and we are only just (as in the last few weeks) starting to get back on track. We will try and update more regularly and if you are waiting for crowdfunder makes they are coming we promise. We are just soooo behind schedule now but as long as Manky Jim (Lou’s stupid bowel) keeps himself together makes are first on the list for next year. Over the winter we are getting our heads down with funding bids, getting the deck of learning finished and fingers crossed getting the temporary teaching room built all ready to kick off next spring in style. Oh and yes soooo many people have been asking Lou will be running knitting courses from the off.
Here’s a little video update to let you know where we are at:
Our Project.
We are a bold, female-led not-for-profit on a mission to smash stereotypes and spark confidence! We’re building a hands-on community skillshare where total beginners can dive into DIY, traditional crafts, and essential life skills in a fun, no-judgement zone. Whether it’s picking up a drill, darning a sock, or mastering small business know-how, we’ve got you covered. And the best bit? We offer free places for women on benefits, because everyone deserves the tools to thrive.
Nestled 10 minutes from Ringwood & Christchurch in a magical place far from the madding crowds.
How you can help us.
We are right at the start of journey and we need sooooo much help if we are going to pull this off.
